General information
| Description | JJN-3 is a human multiple myeloma cell line established from the bone marrow of a 57-year-old Caucasian female patient. The line grows in suspension as single round-to-oval cells, occasionally showing multinucleated morphology. JJN-3 harbors a NRAS p.Gln61Lys activating mutation, reflecting the RAS pathway dysregulation common in myeloma. It is a plasma cell-derived myeloma line that retains the immunophenotypic characteristics of malignant plasma cells, including CD38 and CD138 expression, and has been used in numerous studies of myeloma biology and drug sensitivity. JJN-3 is applicable in studies of multiple myeloma biology, NRAS Q61K oncogenic signalling, anti-myeloma drug evaluation (bortezomib, lenalidomide, daratumumab, elotuzumab), plasma cell differentiation, and bone marrow microenvironment interactions. It is one of the established myeloma reference lines and is suitable for studies of CD38-targeted immunotherapy, IMiD effects, and proteasome inhibitor responses in the context of RAS-mutant myeloma. |

| Shipping Conditions | Cryopreserved cell lines are shipped on dry ice in validated, insulated packaging with sufficient refrigerant to maintain approximately −78 °C throughout transit. On receipt, inspect the container immediately and transfer vials without delay to appropriate storage. |
| Storage Conditions | For long-term preservation, place vials in vapor-phase liquid nitrogen at about −150 to −196 °C. Storage at −80 °C is acceptable only as a short interim step before transfer to liquid nitrogen. |
